ISLAMABAD: Demanding an early dcision in the foreign funding case against the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Thursday said the government was hatching conspiracies against the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to prevent it from performing its duties.Addressing a press conference here, PML-N Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal said the case verdict pending with the ECP for the last five years should be announced immediately. He came down hard on the PTI saying its representatives had requested the court to ban reporting of the case."The difference between the claims made by the government and reality is the same as the difference between Rs17 per kilogram and Rs300 per kilogram tomatoes' prices," he said.Justice (R) Sardar Raza Thursday approved case hearing on a daily basis. The PML-N leader said the current leadership should be sent home and a genuine one should be brought in its place in order to manage the country’s affairs. He criticised Prime Minister Imran Khan and said the premier had no idea about running a country and its economic affairs. He said Imran Khan had been making a fool out of people for the last 22 years adding that he did not have a plan on how to manage economy. He also accused the prime minister of bowing to the conditions of the IMF saying the Fund proposed Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh's name and Imran appointed him as his adviser on finance.
