Saving cricket

Pakistan has been completely bulldozed in the first test against Australia. Misbah-ul-Haq could not bring any change in the behavior and performance of the national cricket team. The losing streak continued and may continue in the rest of the series unless the team improves. Morale is already and there are no signs of improvement.It is proposed that some mature and senior former players like Javed Miandad and Mohsin Hassan Khan be deputed to train and organize youngsters and for building and regaining their confidence. We are already at the lowest ebb of sports. In hockey and squash we have not won any major event since long. Cricket is the only game where Pakistan has some respectable position and that respect should not be lost with the redundant and mundane decisions of the PCB.Iftikhar MirzaIslamabad
