At long last, the Lahore Orange Line Metro train project reaches its completion as test runs have begun on the 27 kilometer track. Irrespective of politically motivated propaganda against the project, the fact remains that the completion of this modern and state-of-the-art service will be a welcome addition as far as transportation for the people of Lahore is concerned. It is expected that 350,000 passengers will benefit from this project daily. The tendency of creating controversies around welfare and development projects should come to an end. The people of Lahore are grateful to former CM Shahbaz Sharif for providing this dynamic transport facility.Qazi Jamshed Alam SiddiquiLahore
