Develop the local

Big cities are growing at an alarming pace. People are forced to move from villages into big cities. In order to avoid this, we must diversify and de-centralise various events and activities generating economic opportunities. For example, we could possibly distribute the universities, educational zones and their teaching/training campuses, and also factories and industrial zones all across the country, especially to the less developed areas. Educated faculty and students, factory management and technical hands hopefully will be a good social influence on the local population. Also, the local population will have to provide for a number of services and materials. The will to get their children educated will be strengthened. This will be in addition to a host of activities generating economic opportunities in the region. The European Union is a good example to follow. They have distributed various events of importance generating money for the local economy all across the EEC. We hope that the government will consider this or other similar initiatives to develop the peripheries of the country.Irfan U KhattakAbbottabad
