PESHAWAR: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Ahmad Karim Kundi has welcomed the restoration of 2,251 sacked employees of the Workers Welfare Board along with their perks and privileges by the Supreme Court of Pakistan saying that the higher judiciary of the country had endorsed the pro-people policies of his party’s government.Talking to reporters here on Monday, he said that unemployment was one of the major problems and the PPP had always provided jobs to the unemployed youths during its governments. He said that PPP would always support the poor and oppose the anti-people policies of the incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Terming it a success of the Workers Welfare Board employees and PPP, he said the PTI government tried to deceive the nation and youths by promising to provide millions of jobs but instead of providing jobs, the rulers snatched jobs from the people and made life miserable for them by increasing prices of essential commodities. He said the disappointing statements of the federal and provincial ministers suggesting the unemployed youths not to expect government’s jobs had created unrest and confusion among the youths and their families.
