PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court granted bail to the father of a rights activist on Monday.A division bench comprising Justice Qaiser Rashid granted bail to Muhammad Ismail, father of rights activist Gulalai Ismail. He was asked to submit Rs100,000 surety bond and produce personal guarantees by two individuals.The court directed Muhammad Ismail to remain careful in future. The Federal Investigation Agency had registered a case against Muhammad Ismail under Sections 10 and 11 of the Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act 2016, read with Section 109 of the Pakistan Penal Code. The judge on the occasion expressed anger at the absence of assistant attorney general and imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 on the office of AG. Justice Qaiser Rashid also imposed a ban on the entry of the assistant attorney general in his court.
