ISLAMABAD: The opposition Rahber Committee Thursday announced to hold countrywide protest demonstrations against the government from Friday (today).Akram Khan Durrani, JUI-F leader and Convener Rahber Committee, said this while talking to journalists here. Durrani made the announcement after the JUI-F announced end to Plan-B under which roads and highways in different parts of the country were blocked as part of the anti-government protest. Under Plan-A, the JUI-F along with other opposition parties had staged a sit-in under the Azadi March in Islamabad for several days.The countrywide protest demonstrations today is part of Plan-C against the government. Durrani asked Prime Minister Imran Khan to resign on moral grounds.He said all national institutions were disappointed with the government performance adding that the nation will soon hear good news.He said the PTI could no longer hide behind courts in the foreign funding case and its government will end after a verdict by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).Durrani maintained that farmers, businessmen and doctors were all protesting against the incumbent government. He said the purpose and benefit of the sit-in will shortly be unveiled before the masses.
