PM’s taxes

This refers to the news story, 'How much tax Imran did pay in [the] last 37 years?' (November 19). The PM has paid a huge amount of Rs4.7 million (amounting to Rs10,585 per month) in a period of 37 years. This is a fabulous amount, in a country where only one percent of the people pay income tax.I suggest that the FBR return the entire amount of Rs4.7 million paid by Imran Khan as a grateful gesture by the nation. I’m sure no one will object.Shakir LakhaniKarachi
