Children and labour

In Pakistan there are more than eight million children working aged between 5 and 15. This is their school-going age. Article 25-A of the constitution guarantees the right to free education for children aged 5 to 16. But these children don’t go to school because they are compelled to earn for their helpless and poor families.Child labour is often talked of by politicians and the media with no concrete strategy in place. The families of these children must be helped out of their plight so that they could go to school.Syed BadshahBuner
