Nano Aur Main makes it to DFW South Asian Film Festival

The upcoming Dallas/Fort Worth South Asian Film Festival (DFW SAFF) 2019 aims to promote the perspective and voices of the South Asian community by serving, organizing and advocating South Asian culture in the Greater Dallas Metroplex area through cinema. Scheduled to take place from May 16 to 19, 2019, the festival will feature World, U.S. and Texas premieres of features, shorts and documentaries.Amidst a wide range of films exploring issues that affect South Asians is Pakistani director Ali Sohail Jaura’s Nano Aur Main that stars Qavi Khan and Saboor Aly in titular roles. The film follows the story of Erum (Saboor) and her grandfather (Qavi Khan) and explores the beautiful relation between a girl and her grandfather.The upcoming 5th annual edition of the DFW South Asian Film Festival will open on May 16, with film screenings scheduled to take place from May 17 till 19, followed by a closing night. Other films to be showcased at the festival include A Monsoon Date starring Konkona Sen Sharma, Lovesick and Sir.
