Economy’s hope

It was good to hear from Finance Minister Asad Umar that the rupee had gained equilibrium and it would not be depreciated further. In fact a number of economic factors are responsible for the fluctuation of a currency against other currencies. The subjective perceptions in the market on certain political and social events too play an important role in the rise and fall of a currency. The economy of Pakistan is still in a state of turbulence and uncertainty. One can only hope that the claim of the finance minister will be good news for the economy.Najeeb A KhanBoston
