Playing the protagonist in ongoing drama serial Kamzarf with Rabab Hashmi, and Nadia Khan as his co-stars, singer turned actor Junaid Khan has numerous TV roles to his credit.Having played the role of a good guy in most of his plays, Khan is all set to take on a negative character in his next, titled Hania.Soon to go on-air, Hania will feature Khan in a never seen before avatar; he will be seen as an abusive husband to Zoya Nasir, his co-star in the upcoming production.“I want to challenge myself in every role I choose,” Khan shared in a press statement. “Hania is a new turn as I have never played a character that has no grey shades but is completely and blatantly dark and aggressive, with motives that match his personality.”“The story of Hania highlights a common problem that’s deeply rooted in our society, with the girl’s parents not asking about family history and only seeing a family’s wealth when they are marrying off their daughters. This is a major issue that needs to be addressed,” he added.Directed by Qasim Ali Mureed, Hania features Osama Tahir, Tanvir Jamal, Marium Mirza, Ghana Ali, Wasim Abbas, Firdous Jamal and Hassan Ahmed aside from Junaid.
