ISLAMABAD: Lahore Board wins athletics event of the Inter-Board sports gala that concluded at the Pakistan Sports Complex Wednesday. Sahiwal and Gujranwala took second and third positions respectively in the athletics event. Islamabad stood out first in badminton event with Karachi and Mardan board taking second and third positions respectively. Lahore also won hockey crown with Sukkur and Islamabad boards taking second and third position respectively. Tug of war event was won by Karachi Board with Bannu and Gujranwala taking second and third position respectively. Minister for Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) Dr Fehmida Mirza was the guest of honour and distributed prizes, medals and trophies amongst the winners.
