PESHAWAR: The students of the City University of Science & Information Technology (CUSIT) were advised to become more vigilant while extending donations so that these reach the rightful persons.A two-member team of the Press Information Department delivered the talk at the CUSIT to sensitize the students on the “Haq Haqdaar Tak” an initiative by the Federal Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage. It is aimed at encouraging the public to become watchful and promote safe charity. District Coordinator Ahsan Sardar gave an elaborate presentation on the topic. He exhorted the students to ensure that the donations they make land in the rightful and safer hands and that is not used by a terrorist organization. The session was followed by a group work. The students were divided into three groups. They had a discussion and made suggestions which were noted down for future references. Rahat Shinwari, a representative of the Press Information Department, facilitated the group work. He termed the suggestions made by the students useful. The representative thanked the CUSIT management for providing them with an opportunity to sensitize the student community about a very important aspect of our religious obligation.
