KARACHI: A reporter associated with the Daily Jang newspaper in Karachi has reportedly been detained by ‘plainclothes personnel’ in a predawn raid at his residence on Saturday.Matloob Hussain Mosavi, a young journalist, who covers cultural and social reporting for the Daily Jang in Karachi was taken away from his house located in the Salman Farsi Society within the limits of al-Falah police station.According to the family and the neighbourers, over a dozen armed men with faces covered scaled the walls of his house and took him away.The armed men searched the entire house. The unidentified people also misbehaved with the family and locked the main door of the house before leaving.The family sources further claimed that the armed men had arrived in at least three vehicles, including Parado and Vigo.The family has filed an application with the al-Falah police station for registration of a case but no case was registered till the filing of this news story.
