LAHORE: Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar chaired a meeting to discuss the proposals and plans to set up modern solar power plants. Addressing the meeting held at CM's Office, Usman Buzdar said a Canadian company had expressed its interest in the proposed plans. He said Punjab had a huge potential for solar energy production. New technology would be used for the purpose, he added.
