PESHAWAR: Peshawar High Court judge Justice Mohammad Ayub was left wounded after he was shot by a group of unknown men Thursday morning. According to Superintendent of police (SP) Cantt Qaseem Riaz, the incident occurred in Hayatabad's Phase 5 area, when a unknown assailants shot at the car of Justice Ayub. Justice Mohammad Ayub Khan was appointed as the judge of Peshawar High Court in 2017. Before his elevation, he served as judge of accountability court in Peshawar. He also rendered services as district and sessions judge and remained posted at various stations. Justice Ayub also served as registrar of the Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC).
