Sonya Hussyn opts out of Sorry – A Love Story

Director Sohail Javed announced his first feature film, Sorry – A Love Story last year in collaboration with actor-producer Faysal Qureshi. Initially the cast of the film included Faysal Qureshi, Aamina Sheikh, Zahid Ahmed and Sonya Hussyn in key roles. However, recent reports suggest that Sonya Hussyn, who appeared on the big screen in Azaadi last year, is no longer part of the film.A source close to the actress confirmed the news to us while Sonya hasn’t released any official statement yet. She is currently shooting for her next, Tich Button, in Larkana.However, according to the director, Sonya will not be in the film due to disagreement on some content, but they will be working together in the future. Moreover, Faysal Qureshi also shared that the decision was made in a very cordial manner.Though nothing has been finalized on who will now play Sonya’s part in Sorry – A Love Story, all we know is that the film will mark Faysal Qureshi’s comeback to the big screen. Dubbed as a romantic drama, the film - as the title suggests - revolves around the ever-changing dynamics of love in the lives of four individuals. It is about the ups and downs of love, finding love, losing it, and finding it again.The film is scheduled to release later this year.
