Quiche Ingredients Pie doughMargarine 200 gFlour 400 gSalt 5 gWater 100 mlFillingCelery 250 gOnion 100 gSalt 10 gBlack or white pepper 10 gCheese 200 g Boiled chicken/sausage 250 gCooking oil 50 mlMilk 500 mlEggs 12Directions Take bowl and put sieved flour, salt, and margarine. Knead a dough. Add water if needed.Chop celery and onion. Shred cheese.Take another bowl. Put eggs one by one. Add salt, black pepper, milk, and yellow food colour. Spread the dough with roller pin. Cut it into even size with cutter.Put it into moulds, fill it with chicken, cheese, and egg mix. Bake for 18 minutes.Note: keep temp at 200 ¼ C. Oven should be preheated.100 grams = ½ cup8 tbsp = ½ cupRevamping sugar cookiesA number of updates to the usual approach resulted in better, easier cookies: OLD WAYSOFTENED BUTTERmeans dough must be chilled before rolling.NEW WAY COLD BUTTERmeans dough is firm enough to be rolled immediately after mixingGRANULATED SUGARproduces slightly grainy crumb. SUPERFINE SUGAR made by processing granulated sugar in food processor, which smooths out graininess but still allows for open crumb. Apple pie IngredientsGreen apples 1 1/2 kgRaisins 100 gFlour 450 gIcing sugar 150 gMargarine 300 gVanilla essence few dropsCinnamon powder 100 gCustard powder 2 tbspSugar 100 gEgg 1Directions Oven should be preheated. Mix flour, icing sugar, half egg, vanilla essence, margarine in a bowl and knead it well.Chop peeled apples into cubes and toss them with sugar, raisins, and cinnamon.Set the paste in the pie mould. Save 1/3 paste and shape it into thin strips.Take custard powder and stir it in cold water. Mix it with the warm apples in pot. Now, pour the apple mixture into the mould. Place the strips over the mixture in a crisscross pattern and roll the edges. Brush the surface of the dough with egg and then sprinkle with sugar. Pop that in the oven for 50 minutes.
