Puppet festival concludes

LAHORE : Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop's three-day-long 'International Puppet Festival culminated here Sunday after entertaining thousands of children and families at the Rafi Peer Cultural Centre, Green Acres, Raiwind Road.The festival, a unique and colourful event, with a lot of meticulously planned amusement programmes for kids, included puppet performance by the three world famous international puppet groups i.e. Germany, Turkey and Indonesia.The programmes included puppet performance by Imran Peerzada, folk puppet theatre by Aziz Bashir, puppet performance by ‘Papermoon Pupet Theatre Indonesia, story-telling by Tasneem Peerzada and Mina Malik Hussain, puppet performance by Cengiz Ozek Turkey, Miriam EllenBroek from Germany and Puppet Making & Art Workshop by Yamina Peerzada.
