LAHOREKeeping up with the traditions, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH&RC) sent 12 pediatric cancer survivors to participate in event activities of Pakistan Super League (PSL) being held in Dubai.The cancer patients and survivors are the guests of PSL team Multan Sultan. In their three-day long trip, the kids will watch match between Multan Sultan and Karachi Kings, visit famous tourist places of Dubai and meet the management of Multan Sultan and international cricketers at the event.It is pertinent to mention that PSL would also observe Childhood Cancer Awareness Day on Friday, February 15.The visit of the pediatric cancer survivors of SKMCH&RC to Dubai is an effort to make the kids forget their pain and harshness of cancer treatment and enjoy the unforgettable moments in their lives. At the occasion young cancer survivors, while expressing their joy said that, “Once they fought and won the battle against cancer with the help of SKMCH&RC, now they are enjoying unforgettable moments of their lives as Multan Sultan and SKMCH&RC provided them with the opportunity to participate in the PSL match activities, dedicated to the childhood cancer.
