FocusPK19 to take place on Feb 12

An exclusive conference, Women In FocusPK19 is all set to take place with the aim to celebrate Pakistan Women’s Day and also draw attention to the accomplishments of some prominent women from different walks of life. While Focus PK2017, was a two-day event and featured a total of 36 speakers who addressed the audience during six important sessions, this year’s conference is different and will highlight well-known women who are working towards women empowerment.Women In FocusPK19 is scheduled to take place in Karachi on February 12, 2019 at the Sindh Governor House. The list of female speakers and leaders include renowned actress and Chairperson FocusPK Atiqa Odho, who will also host the upcoming event; two-time Oscar award winning documentary filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy and celebrated designer and entrepreneur, Shamaeel Ansari.The lineup of speakers at the Women In FocusPK19 will also feature director, producer and actor, Sahira Kazmi, who has drama serials like Dhoop Kinarey, Hawwa Ki Beti and Nijaat to her credit along with acclaimed stylist, Nabila and veteran playwright Haseena Moin who is the brains behind classic TV serials such as Uncle Urfi, Kiran Kahani, Ankahi, Tanhayyan and Dhoop Kinaray.Moreover, the event will feature EBM’s Managing Director and CEO, Dr. Zeelaf Munir, who is also an advocate of women empowerment; Chairperson and CEO, Unilever, Shazia Syed, Seema Jaffer, director and producer, Misbah Khalid and Amena Khan.
