Time wasted

The police check post at Faizabad is a cause of major waste of time and fuel. During the morning and evening rush hours, thousands of vehicles are forced to slow down to below 5 km/hour to pass through the check post. The main reasons are the concrete pillars, which originally had CCTV mounted on them, and which force drivers to slow down when passing between the pillars.The CDA requested to either remove the pillars or widen the road at the check post so that vehicles can pass through quicker. If we are to compete with the rest of the world, we need to prevent wastage of time and fuel wherever possible. It is hoped that the CDA will resolve this matter at the earliest.Syed Hussein El-EdroosIslamabad
