With Pakistani content creators venturing into the world of web series, multiple productions are in the works that are expected to release later this year. One of the recent additions to the list is Shamoon Abbasi-starrer action thriller Mind Games that will highlight the issue of money laundering done via supermodels in the local entertainment industry.Partially based on real life events, Mind Games is a project of Picture Wala Productions and is being directed by Farhan Tajammul. Written by Inaam Shah, according to Shamoon Abbasi, the web series might make it to Netflix.“Netflix has yet to give me a confirmation on officially accepting the project,” he informed in a recent interview. “But it is made on international standards with PG-R category; it has strong language, violence and sex scenes which make it impossible to run on any local platform.”However, Abbasi shared that the plot of Mind Games is very desi and gives a detailed insight on money laundering activities in Pakistan. “But keeping in mind the censorship, not all of the matters could have been highlighted,” the veteran actor added. In addition to Shamoon Abbasi, the upcoming series stars Emmad Irfani, Kanza Razzaq and Sana Fakhar in key roles.
