Rafay Rashdi’s upcoming web series Baadshah Begum is set to go on floors by the end of this year and the cast is currently being finalized with some incredible actors joining the list. First, it was Iman Ali, who signed on for a key role in the upcoming project, and then Faysal Qureshi, who will be essaying the role of the antagonist, recently came onboard.The newest addition to the list is Mohsin Abbas Haider of Na Maloom Afraad and Meri Guriya fame who will be playing a prominent role in Baadshah Begum that follows the story of siblings – their rivalry and the hunger for power.Producer of the series, Rafay Rashdi took to social media earlier this week and shared that he is “ecstatic” to have Mohsin play the noblest and wisest sibling of them all.Instep got in touch with the actor to find out about his character and what made him agree to it.“I am playing a very sober, composed and wise man in the series,” Mohsin revealed, informing that he was interested in a different character initially but now he is happy to be playing this one.“He is very patient and controlled,” Mohsin added. “He is positive, he is revolutionary and I found the character really interesting. I have high hopes from it because the cast comprises very talented individuals and I hope we all will learn from each other.”Mohsin also informed that this will be his first experience of working in a web series and that he is very excited.
