Having starred in Mohammad Ehteshamuddin’s ongoing period drama Aangan in the first few episodes, Ahsan Khan has a lot up his sleeve this year. He has signed on a for a film as well as a web series while he will also appear in a Ramazan special TV play opposite Ramsha Khan, called Shahrukh Ki Saliyan. It is a light hearted, romantic comedy that will surely bring smiles to your faces.“It is a special play,” Ahsan told Instep, adding that it is produced under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment while it has been written by Dr Younis Butt and directed by Mazhar Moin.“I am playing the role of a young man who is in love with a girl (Ramsha Khan) but is in a fix as the girl is the youngest sibling and can only get married after her sisters tie the knot. My character is that of a desperate, funny guy who is in a rush and can go to any extent to marry his love interest,” the actor added.Aside from Ahsan and Ramsha, Shahrukh Ki Saliyan features Jawed Sheikh, Rehan Sheikh, Hina Bayat, Qavi Khan and Saba Faisal, among others. The play will air during the month of Ramazan on Geo Entertainment.
