Zhalay Sarhadi to make her singing debut with an OST

TV, film actor and model Zhalay Sarhadi has appeared in numerous TV plays including Badnaam that is one of her recent works while she made her big screen debut with Chalay Thay Saath in 2017. The VJ turned actor now plans to venture into the world of music; she is soon to make her singing debut with the OST of an upcoming TV play, Ek Aur Sitam.When Zhalay was approached for the song by the producer of the play Erum Binte Shahid, she was taking music lessons with Vicky Akber.Speaking of her singing debut, Zhalay shared in a press statement, “When thinking about my music career, I wanted to enter the industry after proper training and so I have been training with Vicky Akber for the past three to four months. It was fate and destiny that I was approached by Erum to move forward professionally.”Added Shahid, the producer, on Zhalay’s singing skills, “When I heard her sing in the drama, I knew that I wanted her to sing the original track for my next drama serial.”Composed by Waqar Ali, the song will also be performed by Zhalay for the drama that will go on-air from February 20.Prior to Zhalay, Hania Amir also made her singing debut with OST of her serial Anaa for which she has been receiving good to mixed reviews.
