Junaid Khan’s team up with Indian band comes out today

Singer turned actor Junaid Khan has been making headlines for one thing or the other, whether it is his TV projects or musical collaborations. Currently playing the protagonist in Kamzarf, the lead vocalist of Call has collaborated with Indian rock band Spunk for ‘Talaash,’ an anthem of unity that comes today. With the aim to bring Pakistan and India closer, the song aims to send out a message of peace to the people of subcontinent.“Music knows no boundaries and this collaboration with Spunk is a way to improve understanding and communication between the two countries,” Junaid expressed in a press statement. “I have always believed in living peacefully in a borderless world and ‘Talaash’ is going to spread the message of harmony amongst the people of both cultures.”Junaid, who has co-written the lyrics and has lent vocals to the song alongside lead vocalist of Spunk, also added that ‘Talaash’ is a fun song and its genre is metal-rock.Talaash means ‘search’ and as the title reflects, Junaid aims to connect to listeners on a personal as well as national level. A short teaser of the song released on social media earlier this week questions, “Is it peace that you are looking for?”Whether it is inner peace or peace between the two nations, the song aims to address both. Let’s see if it is able to achieve the desired outcome.
