Karachi: The Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) first Flower Show 2019 was inaugurated on 14th of Feb 2019 by Station Commander Karachi Brig. Riaz Ahmed at a ceremony held at the Bukhari Park.The Cantonment Board Clifton arranged the first flower show. Speaking to the occasion Brig. Riaz Ahmed Lauded the efforts of the CBC organizing the splendid flower show.He said that the efforts of the CBC in making the emulatement of CBC area clean and greener and in promoting sports of natural beauty in the form of flower gardens and parks etc. were commendable and an inspiration for others to emulate. Brig. Riaz Ahmed termed the love of flowers as the essaree of life. He said that flowers reflect natural beauty and love indelible mark of aesthetic delight and creative charm on the human mindHe said that the charming beauty of colorful flowers is refreshing and blessing joy of life.Brig. Riaz Ahmed said that the natural spots in form of gardens, parks and open grounds must be promoted, as they provide the aesthetic delight to the people and have a soothing and calming effect on their nerves that are essential for promotion of love, harmony and tolerance in society.Earlier the Executive Officer CBC Rana Kashif Shahzad, in his welcome address outlines the activities of his organization in promoting horticultural awareness in society.****
