Punjab Professors & Lecturers Association (PPLA) ended its protest after a week late Monday night following the written assurance of its demands by the Minister for Higher Education.Punjab Minister for Higher Education Raja Yasir Humayun visited the sit-in venue outside the Punjab Assembly and assured the PPLA leaders of acceptance of their genuine demands. As per the written agreement, between PPLA and HED, through the minister, the department fully agreed to the association’s proposal vis-à-vis issuance of training schedule and its demand for pay protection. The minister assured that the HED would back up the same through a summary within two weeks.BA/BSc exams: Punjab University BA/BSc Composite, Part-II and Special Category Annual Examinations 2019 will commence from April 5 while BA/BSc Part-I Annual Examination 2019 will commence from April 19.
