School conference concludes

Under the umbrella of Allied Schools, EFA Schools and Resource Academia, a principal conference titled, ‘I am the Principal’ was conducted recently.The school principals of central region-I & II participated in the conference whereas renowned educational experts, important personalities and dignitaries graced the occasion as guests of honour. Suhail Afzal- Executive Director- PGC was the guest of dignity whereas Mian Amer Mahmood-Chairman Punjab Group of Colleges honoured the gathering as a chief guest. The talks shared by the keynote speakers of the event glorified the occasion. The speakers were Dr CJ Dubash (Vice Rector-FC College University), Dr Saghir Ahmed-Trainer and Educationist, Prof Dr Muhammad Nizamuddin- Pro-Rector, UCP, Lt-Gen Arshad Mahmood-former Vice-Chancellor, Punjab University, Majid Hussain (Educationist), Iffat Ahmer (Regional Manager 3P Learning), Semee Shafqat- Principal Beaconhouse and Fayyaz Raja-Sales Director-OUP. Dr Shahid Mahmood-Project Director of Allied Schools, EFA Schools & Resource Academia shared the scope of the conference with the gathering. The selected principals of the system also shared their point of view regarding the characteristics of an effective principal through their presentations. At the end of the day, the best principals of the system were awarded with shields.In Central Region-I, the shield for first position among Allied Schools was received by Ms Iffat Asif- Principal Al-Mansoor Campus, Lahore; the shield for the second position was received by Ms Zaib-un-Nisa- Principal Bahoo-IV Campus, Lahore and the shield of third position was received by Ms Fouzia Karamat- Principal Al-Taimoor Campus, Lahore. The shield for first position among EFA Schools was received by Ms Zobia Inam- principal Abu Bakar Campus, Lahore; the shield for second position was received by Muhammad Yar- Principal Quaid Campus, Sheikhupura and the shield of third position was received by Ghazala Karamat- Principal Shaheen Campus, Lahore.The best academic performance shield for Resource Academia was received by Khajista Sheikh - Principal Sheikhupura Campus. In Central Region-II, the shield for first position among Allied Schools was received by Ms Anum Saeed- Principal Allied School, Al-Moheiman Campus Okara; the shield for second position was received by Ayesha Jamshed- Principal Pak Campus, Lahore and the shield of third position was received by Sameera Khan- Principal Al-Wahid Campus, Lahore. The shield for first position among EFA Schools was received by Mohammad Adnan- Principal Kalsoom Campus, Lahore; the shield for second position was received by Adeelur Rehman- Principal Chak 40/3R Campus, Okara and the shield of third position was received by Ahtesham-ul-Haq- Principal Sumbleen Campus, Okara. The best academic performance shield for Resource Academia was received by Kinza Syed - Principal Okara Campus. Certificates, souvenirs and gifts were distributed among all participants. ***
