KARACHI: Pakistan’s shooters did not start well in their campaign to earn quota places for Tokyo 2020 at the ISSF World Cup Shotgun in Al-Ain, United Arab Emirates on Tuesday.In the qualification round of trap event, Farrukh Nadeem secured 46th position with 119 points (24, 23, 24, 23, 25), Aamer Iqbal stood 91st with 115 points (24, 24, 22, 22, 23), while Zafar-ul-Haq claimed 122nd position with 109 points (21, 23, 24, 20, 21).The World Cup features six shooters from Pakistan and 142 participants overall from across 59 countries. Pakistan’s Usman Chand, Khurram Inam and Ahmad Usman will now participate in the skeet event.
