Bollywood actor Koena Mitra has come out with a startling allegation asserting that Indian National Congress president Rahul Gandhi was welcomed by ‘Islamic flags’ in Kerala, prepping for a second ‘partition.’The 35-year-old actor had turned to Twitter alleging Gandhi of working towards another partition of India as, she claims, he was welcomed in the Indian state of Kerala with ‘Islamic flags’ that could lead to a war getting sparked in the country. “First partition was done by Terrorist Jinnah, Next could be Rahul Gandhi.Islamic flags welcomed him to #Kerala. Congress manifesto is pro jihad and anti jawans, anti India. Somebody is working hard for "Gazwa-e-Hind",” she had stated. However, the actor’s words soon backfired as political analyst Sumanth Raman saying the flags were of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) from their leader’s gathering back in 2016. Apart from that, the actor was also called out for the incorrect location she shared of the photo as it was originally taken in Kozhikode. Soon after, the actor faced immense backlash from social media users for not just her negative views but also for the distortion of facts.
