Call to halt new recruitment

FAISALABAD: Teaching Staff Association of the NFC Institute Faisalabad Wednesday expressed concern over the recruitment of some new high officers in the ‘financially crunched’ institute and urged Prime Minister Imran Khan to stop new recruitment.The General Body Meeting of the NFC Teaching Staff Association apprehended that in case the recruitment of new officers on higher posts would put the Institute under great financial burden. The meeting was of the view that the NFC was already facing over-staffing and there was no justification for making new recruitment. The Teachers Staff Association have rejected the attempt of the NFC High-ups to make new recruitment.The Association categorically announced that they would not accept any second option but to place a PH.D as head of the Institute. They pointed out that the other departments of the NFC were getting 35 percent House Rent since long and this rent allowance should also be granted to the members of the teaching staff.
