It is going to be a visual representation of the flash fiction series of short stories Siye Hashiye and well known writer Mohammed Hanif’s article Our Case Against Manto will also be a part of the act while it will feature the controversial writer’s works such as Toba Tek Singh, Har Naam and License.According to Olomopolo Media, as published by Naya Daur, Absolut Manto “aims to focus on the truths that Manto exposed in society and the various ranges of it from varying degrees of seriousness and darkness, to even heartfelt slice of life and comedic stories.”This isn’t the first time Absolut Manto will be performed onstage; it has been previously performed in Lahore in 2015, 2016 and 2017 while it was also a part of NAPA International Theatre and Music Festival in 2017.
