Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda announced on Twitter: “Pakistan and India have been into Indus water treaty dispute for ages. Due to our continued efforts there’s a major breakthrough that India has finally agreed to our request for inspection of Indian projects in Chenab basin.” The federal minister directed his three-member team to visit India soon to inspect the projects on Chenab basin. The team under Indus Water Commissioner Meher Ali will visit India from January 27 to February 1. Syed Meher Ali Shah said that the team will inspect the Lower Kalnai and Pakal Dul projects.
