Radio presenter-actor and host Khalid Malik, who last appeared on TV in drama serial Baaghi (2017) alongside Saba Qamar, is all set to feature in upcoming play Dumm Sa. He will be seen as a reporter named Ahsan.“Like all reporters, Ahsan is out there looking for fame while also proving his qualification,” Khalid shared in a press statement. “He’s always out there in search of the next breaking news and while he’s at it, he stumbles upon this piece of news which becomes his big break. To know more about the news, you will have to watch the drama.”Directed by Najaf Bilgrami, Dumm Sa follows the story of a mother and her love for her child, according to Khalid, who adds, “The play beautifully narrates how there can never be anything in this world that can beat a mother’s love for her child.”Speaking of the director, Khalid Malik noted, “Najaf is not only a friend but a trained director and filmmaker. He’s not only well versed with the technique but he’s also an actor’s director. I like it when directors take out the time to explain actors what they want out of them.”Currently being shot, Dumm Sa features Nadia Jamil, Shahood Alvi and Ayesha aside from Malik.
