Police on Monday arrested a citizen for hitting and swearing at a traffic warden who stopped him for a one-way violation in the jurisdiction of Defence police.An FIR under Sections 353 and 186 was registered against the man, namely Bilawal, on behalf of traffic warden Sadaruddin at the Defence police station.Defence SHO Muhammad Ali said the citizen pretended to be relative of a police officer when he was stopped for the traffic violation. Instead of admitting his mistake, the man hit the warden with his motorcycle and punches, he said.A video of the incident is available on social media in which Bilawal is also seen using foul language. Of late, it is second reported incident of a citizen’s confrontation with a traffic warden in DHA.Days ago, Darakhshan police registered a case against a woman who misbehaved with a traffic police officer. The woman was stopped after she jumped a traffic light. A video of the incident had gone viral on social media.
