The Pakistan Customs seized 11 houbara bustards during a raid at the Moachko Check Point on Monday. According to Irfan Ali, a spokesman for the customs, Anti Smuggling Organisation of the Model Customs Collectorate Preventive personnel, during a reinforced anti-smuggling drive and acting on credible information , seized 11 houbara bustards. The value of the recovered birds is approximately Rs1.1 million. The bird is on the endangered list of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species.
