RockLite, the Islamabad-based music group featuring former Vital Signs member Rizwan ul Haq, who is both band leader and plays multiple roles in the group from playing the guitars to keyboards to songwriting and more (when need be), is more than a one-hit wonder music group it seems.After releasing the thrilling single, ‘Kon Hai Woh’ with an equally dynamic video, courtesy of director Zeeshan Parwez, the band is gearing up to release its second single, which is called ‘Ghussay Vich’ and it will be accompanied by its own music video, confirmed Rizwan to InstepHe also confirmed that RockLite’s planning to release an album that will contain nine songs in total. At present, a song called ‘Tharkee Budha’ is being mixed and mastered and it will feature in the album. As for the album, its title, speaking tentatively could be ‘Kon Hai Woh’ or ‘Tharkee Budha’. RockLite, the part-retro, part-VS-esque, is a music group that contains as full-time members Rizwan ul Haq, Allan Smith, Bilal Ashraf and Imran Hanan. As for Varqa Faraid and Parham Faraid, who featured in the band’s debut video, ‘Kon Hai Woh’, Rizwan ul Haq maintains that they are session players, who are featured on the album, when needed. Coming back to the 9-track album, it is scheduled to release, according to Rizwan, on March 15. In the meantime, Rizwan has also shared an image for the video of an upcoming single, titled ‘Boondh Pani Pani’ from the album. The song’s video has an animated tone and is being helmed by Zeeshan Parwez. Get ready for some retro pop fun.
