The first Asian Civilizations Dialogue, which was held earlier this week and hosted by Chinese President Xing Ping Jing, a number of filmmakers from various Asian countries - including Fizza Ali Meerza from Pakistan, Aamir Khan from India and Majid Majidi from Iran - were in attendance. Besides Fizza Ali, Pakistani Senator Mushahid Hussain was also one of the attendees at the conference, where he got a chance to meet Bollywood actor, Aamir Khan.In a brief meeting with the senator on the sidelines of the event, Aamir Khan shared his admiration for the legendary actor and comedian, the late Moin Akhtar, who passed away in April 2011. “Good meeting with the legendary Indian movie icon, Aamir Khan, who is also in Beijing for the first Asian Civilizations Dialogue,” Mushahid Hussain tweeted. “He [Aamir Khan] says, ‘I am a huge fan of late Moin Akhtar, an amazing/talented actor’!” he added.Moin Akhtar ruled the hearts of millions around the globe and was also a recipient of the Pride of Performance and Sitara-e-Imtiaz.The Pakistani Senator also tweeted that the Bollywood actor appreciated the hospitality he received during his visit to Pakistan back in 2003. “Friendly, Aamir Khan spoke well of warm hospitality he received during his last visit to Pakistan in 2003; talked about his upcoming production, based on an Indian version of the popular 1994 Hollywood movie of Tom Hanks, Forrest Gump; Cultural Connectivity key in Conf!” wrote Mushahid Hussain.
