Three new IHC judges take oath

ISLAMABAD: Three new Judges of Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday took oath of their offices. IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah administered the oath.New three judges of Islamabad High Court include Justice Lubna Pervez Saleem, Justice Fayyaz Jandran and Justice Ghulam Azam Qambar.The three judges have been appointed as additional judges for a period of one year after the recommendation by Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) and approval from the Parliamentary Committee.However, the Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHCBA) boycotted the oath-taking ceremony of the new additional judges as deadlock between bar and bench has continued to persist on Pakistan Institute of Cardiology (PIC) clash.
