PCB wants departments to be main stakeholders in new set-up: Mani

LAHORE: PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani has revealed that PCB wants the departments to be the main stakeholders in domestic cricket new structure. Talking to The News, Mani said that PCB want departments to be the principal sponsors of the regions. “We want to use their expertise, knowledge and experience in domestic cricket.” He also revealed that under the new constitution which will come into effect in the first quarter of next year, the governing board will have three associations, two departments, three PCB officials and the chairman. Mani further informed that this new constitution did not make patron nominated person to be the chairman. The governing board can nominated and elect any other person to the position, he added.
