‘Minorities enjoying complete religious freedom

NANKANA SAHIB: Federal Interior Minister Ijaz Shah has said that minorities are enjoying complete religious freedom in the country. He said this while addressing a ceremony held in connection with the Christmas celebrations at the District Council Hall here on Sunday. The minister said that it was one of top priority of the government to promote religious tourism in the country.He said that minorities were playing an effective role in the progress of the country. He said that the government was striving for solving the problems of the minorities. He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan loves minorities thats why Kartarpur Corridor was opened for the Sikh community. Deputy Commissioner Raja Mansoor Ahmad, DPO Ismailur Rehman and a large number of Christian community participated in the function.
