IIU opens tomorrow

Islamabad: The International Islamic University will resume classes tomorrow (Thursday) after remaining closed since Friday due to a violent clash on the main campus.The university had closed its campuses on Friday following the killing of a student in a violent clash between two student groups. A spokesman for the IIU asked the students to re-join the university on Thursday.An announcement in this respect was made following an operation in male hostels to evict and act against illegal boarders and outsiders. All Pakistani men living on the old and new campuses were told to vacate hostels for the 'combing operation'.
