Jada Pinkett-Smith expresses her love for Abida Parveen

Abida Parveen is one Sufi singer who continues to mesmerise everyone with her soulful melodies all around the globe. Among them is actor, host and activist Jada Pinkett-Smith. Her recent Instagram post about the legendary singer is a testimony to it.Jada Pinkett-Smith has been making waves ever since her web series, Red Table Talk, was launched last year that co-stars her daughter Willow Smith and mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris. She recently shared a clip on her Instagram stories in which the great Abida Parveen is performing live at a concert. “My night with my spiritual mother Abida Parveen is one I won’t forget. I see my path,” she wrote on the clip.Besides sharing a video clip on her Insta stories, Jada Pinkett shared adorable pictures with Abida Parveen.This is not the first time Jada has expressed her love for the iconic singer. Earlier this year, the star shared clips of ‘Chaap Tilak’ – featuring Abida Parveen and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan from Coke Studio 7 (2014) – on her official Instagram handle and wrote, “Abida Parveen and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan are two of my favourite vocalists of Sufi music. This song is called ‘Chaap Tilak’ and you can go on YouTube to check out the lyrics. They are beautiful.”Strings should be delighted by this comment, who produced the song in season 7 of the music-TV series.
