Currently busy shooting for his debut film Sorry – A Love Story, Zahid Ahmed has proven himself as an incredible actor time and again. From Alvida to Sangat to Besharam to the most recent Visaal, he has proven himself to be a versatile actor with diverse roles to his credit. Adding to the list is an upcoming drama serial that will feature him as a blind person. The actor took to social media and announced the play, which will be his second TV project this year. He shared a picture with Sanam Jang, who will be starring opposite him, from the set of the play.“My second play this year, featuring the fabulous Sanam Jung,” he posted. “And I play Zulqarnain, who is blind.” He also shared that it will take some time before the play goes on air while he informed that it is being directed by Furqan Khan.Zahid and Sanam earlier worked together in Alvida in which the former essayed the role of an anti-hero. Aside from the upcoming play, Zahid is playing the protagonist in Bandhan, one of the tracks in ongoing TV series Choti Choti Baaten that is attempting to break stereotypes via unconventional characters and narratives.
