Bilal Abbas Khan, Gohar Rasheed and Kubra Khan-starrer telefilm, Laal, which has been directed and produced by Haseeb Hassan is all set to hit our TV screens on March 23, that is, Pakistan Day. The recently launched teaser of the upcoming production, which will release in collaboration with Geo Films, hints at a patriotic narrative.Laal follows the life of a Pakistan Navy officer, essayed by Bilal, who comes from a poverty-stricken place, as per the teaser. His family expects him to follow his father’s footsteps and become a chaiwala but he manages to rise above his circumstances. We would know how he ends up becoming a Navy officer once we watch the film that will be aired on Geo Entertainment.Written by Umera Ahmed, Laal has been made in collaboration with Geo Films while it is produced under the banner of Hamdan Films, helmed by Haseeb Hassan of Mann Mayal and Parwaaz Hai Junoon fame.Aside from Bilal, Gohar and Kubra, the upcoming telefilm will feature Iffat Umer, Rasheed Naz, Saleem Mairaj, Adnan Shah Tipu and Adnan Jaffar in key roles.
