Two cops injured in attack

FAISALABAD: Sandal Bar police post incharge ASI Jamshed Shaukat and Muharrar Muhammad Khan were injured when four accused attacked them on Saturday.Accused, including Fazal Qadir and Mudassar, allegedly attacked the police post and allegedly beating the ASI. Later, they dragged out the cop from the police post and again manhandled him in the presence of the locals. The police have registered a case.THREE POLICEMEN SACKED: CPO Ashfaq Ahmad Khan has terminated three police officials on various charges.The CPO terminated Gulberg police head constable Waqas Akhtar and constables Amir Khan and Naveed Amjad. Meanwhile, SSP Operations Ismailur Rehman terminated ASI Idrees Ahmad, incharge of Makkoana police post, from the service.
