Man murdered by nephew

LAHORE: A man was killed allegedly by his nephew with the abetment of the victim’s wife in the Shahdara police jurisdiction on Tuesday.The victim has been identified as Maqbool, a resident of Miraj Park. Police said the victim’s nephew identified as Naveed had developed illicit relations with the victim’s wife Shabana. On the day of the incident, the victim caught them red handed, over which, the accused persons clubbed him to death.Police arrest both accused. Further investigation is underway. The body has been removed to morgue.burnt: Goods worth hundreds of thousands of rupees were burnt when a fire erupted at a Landa bazaar near Gajjumata Stop on Ferozepur Road on Tuesday. The fire engulfed the all stalls at the bazaar. Rescue 1122 fire service controlled the fire. No loss of life or injury to anyone was reported. The reason behind the fire could not be known.charas seized: Anti-Narcotics Force recovered 55.2 kg charas from a bus during a raid near Thokar Niaz Beg on Tuesday. ANF officials also arrested two accused persons identified as Suleman Shah and Nasir Jamal. Further investigations are underway.
